
The patch notes posted on Blizzard's official website reveal that the developers are planning to make balance changes to Diablo II's classes almost 11 years after its final patch in 2010.

Shared on the official Diablo Twitter, Activision Blizzard has announced that Diablo II: Resurrected will recieve a 2.4 Patch very soon. Related: How Diablo 2: Resurrected's Gameplay Holds Up Two Decades Later Almost two decades later, players now have the ability to import original saves into Diablo II: Resurrected and can continue their ventures in the world of Sanctuary. With the help of Blizzard's free online play service,, the game went on to gain an enormous following and featured an online mode that allowed players to participate in the Ladder competing against other players in PvP.


Released in 2000, the vast RPG utilized the 2D isometric-overhead camera view (similar to many other titles in the 90s) and placed a strong emphasis on character progression, story development, and exploration. Diablo II was created by Blizzard Entertainment and is often credited as the quintessential dungeon-crawler that changed the RPG genre.
